Club Information

Glasgow Korfball Club was established in 2007, and we’re currently the only korfball club in the West of Scotland.

We welcome new members, so if you’re looking for a sports team in Glasgow come along to a training session and see what it’s all about! Korfball is similar to basketball or netball, but it’s played in mixed teams. Most people who come along to training for the first time have never played before, so you don’t need to worry about being a beginner. The first session is free so come along and give it a shot!

Location: Shawlands Academy, Glasgow

Entrance to training is from Woodstock Avenue, at the back of the school. This is not the main entrance to the school. The map here shows the way in to the hall. To get to the sports hall, you have to go around the first building into a playground/car park area between the sports hall and the main building - see photos.

Time: Every Wednesday, 8-9.30pm

Cost: £3 per session – and the first session is free!

(Please note that the buildings in Shawlands have not been correctly tagged in Google Maps, and that the building marked here as Shawlands Arcade (the bowling club) is just slightly south of the Shawlands Academy sports hall.)
